Meet Signature Faces CEO

Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Retired makeup artist Natalie Sims founded Signature Faces Cosmetics In 2019.  

“I started in the beauty industry as a freelance makeup artist.  While working as a makeup artist I often found myself custom blending everything from concealer and foundation to highlighter and blush on women of color.  It became abundantly apparent that most makeup companies do not account for the color complexities of melanated skin.  As a result, countless women of color are often excluded from being able to use many product lines. 

In 2019 I decided to launch a cosmetic line that focused on providing quality makeup with inclusive undertones.  I dedicated my brand in honor of my late mother who worked in the beauty industry as a hair stylist for over 30 years. 

As a business owner in the beauty industry I understand the importance of nurturing a positive self-image.  I make intentional effort to maintain my company’s voice of self-love and acceptance.  My product is simply a bonus to the integral beauty my customers already possess.”
